Microsoft Copilot & GenAI Solutions Lead

Location: Edison, New Jersey

Work arrangement: Onsite

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 base salary + bonus & benefits

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Copilot & GenAI Solutions Lead to drive the design, implementation and adoption of enterprise AI-powered Copilot solutions.

This position combines hands-on technical delivery with solution architecture, strategic consulting and stakeholder leadership. You will work closely with business and technology teams to identify opportunities for generative AI, develop transformation roadmaps and deliver secure, scalable AI solutions across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of Generative AI and Copilot solutions
• Develop custom copilots, AI assistants and agent-based applications
• Architect solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI Service and Azure AI Foundry
• Lead stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions and AI value assessments
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through Generative AI
• Define prompt engineering standards, RAG strategies and evaluation frameworks
• Integrate AI solutions with platforms including SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics 365, SAP, ServiceNow and Salesforce
• Establish governance, security, compliance and Responsible AI practices
• Monitor solution performance, accuracy and user adoption
• Mentor developers, architects and consultants across AI technologies and delivery standards
• Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders

Required experience

• Strong experience delivering enterprise Generative AI or Microsoft Copilot solutions
• Expertise in Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI Service and Azure AI Foundry
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation and vector databases
• Experience designing cloud-based enterprise solution architectures
• Knowledge of Microsoft Graph API, Power Platform and Azure Cognitive Services
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise applications and data sources
• Understanding of LLM evaluation, optimisation, governance and Responsible AI
• Development experience with Python, C# or JavaScript
• Strong consulting, communication and stakeholder-management capabilities
• Previous experience leading technical delivery engagements or mentoring technical teams

• Microsoft Fabric
• Semantic Kernel or comparable AI orchestration frameworks
• Agentic AI solutions
• Enterprise AI adoption and change-management programmes
• Developing AI business cases, ROI assessments and transformation roadmaps
