Hiring: Cloud AWS Engineer III
Location: New York, NY – 5 Days Onsite
Job Type: Contract
We are looking for a highly experienced AWS Cloud Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer .
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, cloud infrastructure automation, and containerization .
🔑 Key Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure
- Strong proficiency in Terraform/IaC for provisioning AWS infrastructure
- Strong experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, SNS, RDS PostgreSQL, ECS/Fargate, VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, ALB/ELB, Route53, EFS, CloudWatch, and Grafana
- Strong understanding of AWS IAM, Okta, encryption, KMS/key management, certificates, and vulnerability management
- Experience with containerization and middleware such as NGINX, JBoss, Tomcat, or Corretto
- Working knowledge of Python, Java, or Scala
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, Agile/Scrum, and JIRA
- Databricks, Starburst, AWS Glue, EKS, Multi-AZ/Multi-Region experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred
- AWS certification preferred
