Assistant Controller - Private Credit - AI

Overview:

This is a 6-Month CONTRACT to HIRE Opportunity

ALL Applicants MUST Reside on The EAST COAST.

All Applicants MUST HAVE experience working in Private Credit and Artificial Intelligence!

• Private credit platform spanning evergreen/hybrid structures, closed-end funds, direct lending, and SMAs; oversee NAV packages, administrator workpapers, and financial statements across onshore/offshore teams.
• Designed AI-powered trial balance reconciliation using firm materiality thresholds to isolate, prioritize, and communicate deal-level balance sheet and P&L breaks.
• Built AI-enabled fund intelligence tools for deal-level P&L, borrowing base, IRR, Form PF, LPA controls, and investor-level SOI reporting, including single- and multi-investor views, executive summaries, and top-performer analytics by harvest pool.
• Advise senior leadership on fund economics, liquidity, capital planning, deal pipeline funding, capital call/distribution timing, and multi-facility credit availability.
• Own quarterly financial reporting, SEC compliance, and investor communications; model carried interest, incentive fees, waterfalls, and management fees for new and evolving vehicles.
• Serve as finance lead across Investment, Tax, Valuation, Investor Services, Treasury, and Capital Formation; lead annual audit execution and develop junior finance talent.

Pay: $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
