Social Media Content Creator & Admin Assistant

We are looking for someone creative, organised and confident to take responsibility for our personal social media accounts and the social media presence of our construction company.

This is not simply a role managing a content calendar. We need someone who can come up with ideas and then make them happen.

You will film, photograph, edit and post content, follow the progress of our construction projects and find engaging ways to share both the business and the people behind it.

The role will include:

• Creating content for our personal and company social media accounts
• Visiting construction sites to film and photograph ongoing work
• Producing and editing reels, videos, photographs and stories
• Writing captions and publishing content across relevant platforms
• Developing content ideas and maintaining a regular posting schedule
• Monitoring performance and identifying what is working
• Responding to comments and helping grow our online presence
• Organising photographs and video footage from different projects
• Supporting the team with general office and administrative tasks when required

We are looking for someone who:

• Understands Instagram, TikTok and other social media platforms
• Is confident filming and editing short-form video content
• Has a good eye for design, interiors, property or construction
• Is creative, proactive and comfortable suggesting new ideas
• Is organised and able to manage several tasks at once
• Has strong written and spoken English
• Is happy to work independently and travel to our construction sites
• Is flexible and willing to assist with general administration when needed

Previous professional experience would be helpful, but attitude, creativity and practical ability are more important. Please include examples of any social media accounts, videos or content you have created with your application.

This is a full-time position offered on an initial 12-month contract.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

• London BR1 4DG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Social media marketing: 1 year (required)
