Marketing Assistant

Fraser’s Medical International (FMI) is an Australian medical education company preparing students for GAMSAT, UCAT, ISAT and MMI, with a footprint across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the UAE and Europe.

We’re looking for someone to take on the day-to-day execution of marketing, running the machine so nothing drops.

Day to day, you’ll handle:

• Email marketing and campaign set up.
• Social media management and content planning.
• General marketing operations and problem solving as things come up.

On the contracted side, this role covers:

SEO: keyword research, on-page optimisation (meta tags, headers), and monitoring performance through tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush.

SEM: building and optimising Google Ads campaigns, managing keyword bids, and reporting on performance with clear recommendations.

Ad development: working with our creative team on ad concepts, writing copy that lands with our audience, and choosing the right formats and platforms across display, social and PPC.

Team collaboration: joining team meetings, reporting on marketing metrics and completed work, flagging gaps or inefficiencies, and working cross-functionally with other parts of the business.

Staying current: keeping up with digital marketing trends, attending relevant webinars or events, and bringing new strategies back into how we market FMI.

You’ll also need to build up real familiarity with our products, GAMSAT, UCAT, ISAT, MMI and interview prep, so your marketing is grounded in what we actually do, not generic templates.

This is a part-time or contractor role, suited to someone who wants to own execution day to day rather than sit above it.

Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
