Mechanical Engineer – AI Training & Technical Evaluation

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers to support technical projects involving engineering analysis, problem solving, content evaluation, and AI training.

You will apply practical engineering knowledge to evaluate solutions, identify technical errors, develop reference answers, and review engineering reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Solve mechanical engineering problems
• Evaluate AI-generated engineering responses
• Review calculations, assumptions, and engineering decisions
• Identify technically incorrect or unsafe conclusions
• Develop rigorous reference solutions
• Create realistic engineering scenarios and evaluation criteria
• Review drawings, calculations, specifications, or technical documentation where applicable
• Provide clear technical feedback

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to explain technical decisions clearly in written English
• Professional design, manufacturing, research, or engineering experience preferred
• PE license, Master’s degree, PhD, or specialized industry experience is a plus
• AI training experience is helpful but not required

Work Arrangement

This is a remote, project-based contractor opportunity. Project volume may vary depending on client requirements and technical specialization.
