Java Backend Developer with Agentic AI

Role: Senior Java Backend / AI Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Agentic AI and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The candidate must have excellent Java coding skills and experience building production-grade enterprise applications and AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java 17/21, Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Build enterprise-grade APIs, integrations and distributed systems.
• Develop Agentic AI applications, autonomous agents, multi-agent workflows, tool-calling and reasoning workflows.
• Implement AI solutions using ADK, Spring AI, LangChain4j, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel or similar frameworks.
• Build and optimize RAG pipelines, including document parsing, semantic chunking, embeddings and vector search.
• Integrate Vertex AI, Gemini models and Document AI with enterprise applications.
• Deploy and manage applications using GCP, GKE, Cloud Run and Kubernetes.
• Implement LLM evaluation, guardrails, hallucination mitigation and AI governance.

Must-Have Skills

• 8+ years of enterprise software development experience
• Strong hands-on Java 17/21 coding

• Strong GCP experience
• Vertex AI & Gemini
• Agentic AI / Generative AI / LLMs
• RAG & Vector Search

• GKE, Cloud Run & Pub/Sub
• SQL & NoSQL databases
• Vector databases – pgvector, Pinecone or Vertex AI Vector Search
• Docker & Kubernetes
