Applied AI Specialist

For our client, we are seeking a Applied AI Specialist to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will partner closely with enterprise customers to identify, shape, and advance high-value AI opportunities.

You will lead discovery conversations, assess technical feasibility, and translate qualified use cases into actionable solution designs.

The position blends customer-facing pre-sales expertise with applied data science and AI knowledge to help move promising ideas from concept to implementation.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $171,000 – $200,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead AI discovery workshops to validate and prioritize use cases
• Scope high-value AI opportunities with enterprise customers
• Evaluate technical feasibility for private AI deployments
• Serve as a subject matter expert within a specialized regional pod
• Develop proofs of concept and technical demonstration assets
• Translate qualified use cases into engineering blueprints
• Document successful use cases and best practices for scalability

Qualifications

• Strong technical foundation in data science and AI applications
• Practical experience with machine learning, computer vision, and generative AI
• Proven success in pre-sales or solution architecture roles
• Ability to assess data quality and infrastructure readiness for AI
• Exceptional communication skills for engaging technical and executive audiences
