WordPress Web Development Coordinator

Tech Hive UAE is a technology solutions company providing Web & Mobile Application Development, AI Solutions, Cloud Computing, DevOps, SaaS, eCommerce, and Digital Transformation services to clients across the UAE and international markets.

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Web Development Coordinator to join our remote development team and handle the development, customization, maintenance, optimization, and deployment of WordPress websites.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing professional, responsive, secure, and high-performing WordPress websites. The role requires strong practical knowledge of WordPress, PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, themes, plugins, APIs, and website optimization .

You will collaborate with UI/UX designers, SEO specialists, content teams, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver high-quality websites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
• Build responsive websites based on Figma/UI/UX designs.
• Customize WordPress themes and develop custom themes when required.
• Develop, configure, and customize WordPress plugins.
• Work with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL .
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Develop and customize WooCommerce websites and online stores.
• Configure payment gateways, shipping systems, product catalogs, and eCommerce functionality.
• Implement custom post types, taxonomies, fields, and WordPress functionality.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, scalability, and responsiveness .
• Troubleshoot WordPress errors, plugin conflicts, database issues, and server-related problems.
• Implement website security best practices and perform regular updates.
• Configure DNS, SSL, hosting, backups, and deployment environments.
• Migrate WordPress websites between hosting providers and servers.
• Integrate WordPress websites with CRM, email marketing, analytics, and other business systems .
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Collaborate with SEO teams to implement technical SEO requirements.
• Work with QA teams to identify and resolve website issues.
• Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Perform website backups and support recovery procedures.
• Maintain technical documentation for websites and custom functionality.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Strong hands-on experience with WordPress CMS .
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL .
• Experience developing and customizing WordPress themes.
• Experience developing or modifying WordPress plugins.
• Experience with WooCommerce .
• Understanding of WordPress database structure and architecture.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services.
• Knowledge of website security and performance optimization.
• Experience with Git and version-control workflows.
• Familiarity with Linux-based hosting environments.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
