About The Role We are seeking a Senior Web Designer to join our dynamic team. This full-time remote position offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate designer to create engaging, high-performing web experiences tailored for families, including parents, children, and seniors. In this role, you will lead the design of user-centric websites, guide product discovery journeys, and develop delightful onboarding processes. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Engineering, Brand, and Marketing, you will ensure that Greenlight delivers memorable and lovable digital experiences that resonate with our diverse user base. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of creative vision, technical expertise, and a user-first mindset to elevate our digital presence and support our mission of empowering families.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of professional web design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating impact and outcomes
• Proficiency in Figma, including design systems and prototyping for seamless engineering handoff
• Experience with AI tools such as Claude, Figma Make, Gemini, etc.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, AfterEffects, and other motion and prototyping tools
• Basic front-end development knowledge to facilitate collaboration with engineering teams
• Mobile app design experience, preferably in fintech or consumer products
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail, consistency, and a passion for high-quality user-centered designs
• Comprehensive understanding of iOS and Android mobile design patterns

Responsibilities

• Design and develop user-centered website layouts, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and digital experiences focused on conversion and usability
• Conduct user research, create user flows, and develop information architecture to inform design decisions
• Own the end-to-end website design process, from ideation and research to visual design, testing, and delivery
• Iterate on designs through testing and user feedback to continuously improve performance and user engagement
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, copywriters, and other stakeholders to translate complex business challenges into intuitive digital solutions
• Ensure all designs adhere to accessibility standards, best practices, and current web trends
• Lead the creation of engineering-ready design components, flows, and systems to ensure consistency across platforms
• Stay updated on emerging web design trends, tools, and technologies, and incorporate them into your work
• Participate actively in brainstorming sessions, reviews, and cross-team collaborations to elevate design quality
