Join NAIL TOCTOC as a Nail Technician for our first U.S. pop-up event in Brooklyn, New York!

NAIL TOCTOC is a Korean beauty-tech startup developing an innovative AI-powered Gel Nail Printing System that combines AI vision technology, precision printing, nail art, and K-Beauty.

Our technology recognizes the shape and position of each customer’s nails and precisely prints their selected nail art designs directly onto the nails. Customers can browse and select designs digitally, creating a new beauty experience that connects technology, creativity, and professional nail care.

Following pop-ups and retail activations in Korea, NAIL TOCTOC is now launching in the United States. Our first U.S. pop-up will take place at HAUS OF K in Brooklyn from September 17–20, 2026.

We are looking for passionate, energetic, and customer-focused Nail Technicians to join us for this exciting launch.

This is not a traditional full-time salon position. It is an event-based opportunity, with approximately 2–3 pop-ups and brand events per month anticipated following our initial Brooklyn event.

Training on the NAIL TOCTOC AI Gel Nail Printing System will be provided.

Duties

• Prepare customers’ nails for gel application and AI nail printing, including basic nail preparation and care.
• Apply gel products as required as part of the NAIL TOCTOC service.
• Operate the NAIL TOCTOC AI Gel Nail Printing System to create precise nail art designs for customers.
• Assist customers in browsing and selecting nail art designs and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
• Introduce customers to the NAIL TOCTOC experience and explain how our AI-powered nail printing technology works.
• Deliver friendly, professional, and engaging customer service throughout the pop-up experience.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and follow appropriate sanitation and disinfection procedures.
• Prepare and organize tools, gel products, equipment, and other materials before and during each event.
• Work closely with the NAIL TOCTOC event team to manage customer flow and provide a smooth and efficient experience.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed.
• Represent NAIL TOCTOC professionally as we introduce the brand and technology to the U.S. market.

Skills

• Professional experience as a Nail Technician preferred.
• Experience with gel manicures, nail preparation, and gel application.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver clean, consistent results.
• Knowledge of nail sanitation, disinfection procedures, and professional hygiene standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, energetic, and comfortable interacting with customers in a pop-up/event environment.
• Comfortable learning and operating new beauty technology and equipment.
• Interest in nail art, K-Beauty, beauty technology, and emerging trends.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively with an event team.
• New York State Nail Specialty License preferred/required based on services performed.
• Availability for September 17–20, 2026 is strongly preferred.

Compensation & Schedule

This is a paid, event-based position with competitive daily compensation.

Pay: $25.75 - $35.00 per hour
