Software Developer

An innovative organisation in the insurance technology space is looking for a Python Developer. You will be joining a fast-growing global provider that focuses on developing a complex SaaS calculation platform for the cyber security insurance market.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and develop data-centric backend services for the core platform using Python and FastAPI.
• Build and maintain advanced mechanisms for data ingestion, transformation, and mass parallel orchestration.
• Model data for various purposes within an Azure environment using Databricks.
• Collaborate with the Infrastructure Team to maintain Infrastructure as Code and develop new engineering features.
• Participate in the design and implementation of network IO orchestration and data modeling.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong backend software engineering experience with Python and building FastAPIs.
• Good knowledge of public cloud services, specifically Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Proven experience working with data at scale and strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL or SQL Server).
• Thorough knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, including Data Structures and Design Patterns.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
