AI Governance Attorneys

Latitude is seeking attorneys with experience with AI governance for flexible contract opportunities with our clients. With the rise of AI, we are seeing a need for attorneys with experience designing and operationalizing AI governance programs.

This is a great opportunity to join Latitude’s bench of attorneys. Most of Latitude’s engagements are fully remote, are flexible (i.e., can range from part-time to full-time), and provide a great opportunity to do high level legal work on your own terms. These opportunities arise with both law firms and in-house legal teams, and we work on both engagement and permanent positions from time to time.

Basic Requirements For AI Governance Attorneys

• 7+ years of legal experience, with a focus on technology, intellectual property, privacy, data rights, cybersecurity, and AI regulation
• Experience with compliance or AI governance programs
• Knowledge of AI legal and regulatory frameworks, such as the EU AI Act
• AIGP certification a plus
• Licensed to practice law in the US and in good standing
• Excellent academic credentials and outstanding references

Compensation Pay: The expected annualized pay for these contract opportunities ranges from $120,000 to $250,000+ when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay determinations are based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, and credentials.

Benefits: Latitude contract professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week. Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
