The Impact You Will Have In This Role As a Associate Director DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the Web3 Platform that underpins key business functions across DTCC. You will serve as a technical leader who drives engineering excellence by defining and promoting best practices in DevOps, platform reliability, automation, infrastructure architecture, and security engineering. Working closely with engineering, architecture, and product teams, you will influence strategic decision‑making on how the platform evolves to meet increasing scale, resiliency, and operational requirements.

This role requires deep expertise in building and integrating both internally developed platform components and enterprise‑grade vendor solutions. You will collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams, providing guidance on platform design, architectural patterns, deployment automation, observability, and continuous delivery pipelines.

You will partner with business leaders, enterprise architects, and DTCC’s risk and security assessment teams to ensure the platform meets the highest standards of security, compliance, and operational readiness. Your work is central to delivering a productionready, highly resilient Web3 platform that supports missioncritical workloads across DTCC.

Your Primary Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support the development and deployment of our applications.
• Collaborate with software engineers, system administrators, and other team members to identify and implement efficient and reliable solutions.
• Automate processes and tasks to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Provide technical support and assistance to the development team.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Define and implement appropriate monitoring and alerting systems for timely identification and resolution of incidents.
• Maintain and enhance the security of our infrastructure, applications, and systems, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain system documentation
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in DevSecOps and cybersecurity.
• Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed For Success

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Infrastructure as a Code Development (IAC) skills using DevSecops pipeline
• Should possess Strong Knowledge on provisioning tools like IAC development (Ansible, Python, Terraform)
• Should possess Strong Knowledge on (Java, Angular Development Skills)
• Strong Experience in using Restful webservices (Integration and Development)
