Job Description
Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) — Volunteer
HAVORA Remote Volunteer / Unpaid 7–10+ Years ExperienceAbout HAVORA
HAVORA is building a premium relationship platform for people seeking meaningful, intentional, long-term relationships.
We are not building another platform around endless swiping and surface-level interactions. We are building an experience centred on trust, compatibility, shared values, safety, and genuine human connection.
The Role
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Product Designer to take ownership of HAVORA’s user experience from 0 → 1.
You will help shape how people experience HAVORA from their first interaction with the platform through onboarding, profile creation, compatibility, matching, conversations, and the broader relationship journey.
We want someone who doesn’t simply design beautiful interfaces, but deeply understands the problem we’re solving and genuinely cares about creating a better experience for the people using HAVORA.
What You’ll Do
* Own HAVORA’s overall product and UX direction.
* Design intuitive, distinctive, and emotionally thoughtful user experiences.
* Translate user research, product requirements, and insights into exceptional experiences.
* Lead the design process from user flows and wireframes through high-fidelity UI and prototypes.
* Establish and maintain a scalable design system.
* Work closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and the Founder.
* Maintain a high standard for usability, visual quality, accessibility, privacy, trust, and safety.
* Help build and eventually lead a strong product design team as HAVORA grows.
What We’re Looking For
* 7–10+ years of relevant product/UI/UX design experience.
* Strong experience designing digital products, preferably consumer or mobile products.
* Excellent product thinking and problem-solving ability.
* Strong proficiency with Figma and modern product design tools and workflows.
* A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality, shipped or well-developed digital products.
* Experience taking ownership of products from concept through execution.
* Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with other designers.
* Ability to operate independently, challenge assumptions, and turn ambiguity into excellent product experiences.
* Most importantly, someone who believes in what HAVORA is building.
Time Commitment
10–15 hours per week, with flexibility.
We understand that volunteers may have existing professional commitments. The goal is consistent, meaningful contribution rather than fixed working hours.
You will have flexibility in how you structure your time, while remaining available for important product/design discussions, collaborating with the team, and delivering agreed-upon work within reasonable timelines.
Important: Volunteer Role
HAVORA is currently bootstrapped and has not yet raised funding.
This is a volunteer role. There is currently no salary or stipend.
If you are not comfortable contributing in a volunteer capacity at this stage, please do not apply.
As HAVORA grows and begins generating significant revenue, high-performing founding contributors will be prioritised for future paid opportunities, leadership roles, and long-term incentives, subject to the company’s future structure and agreements.
