Were seeking experienced insurance underwriting professionals to support an AI-focused project with a leading insurance AI company. The project involves evaluating and improving AI-generated insurance outputs using real-world underwriting expertise and industry judgment.
The ideal candidates will bring 8-12+ years of hands-on underwriting experience in the U.S. insurance market, with real underwriting authority and decision-making experience.
Were particularly interested in expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Middle-Market/Senior Commercial P&C
- Specialty & E&S
- Individual Life
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, quality, and alignment with real-world underwriting practices
- Create scenarios, inputs, and evaluation criteria to assess AI performance
- Review and assess insurance-related content and identify inaccuracies, gaps, or inconsistencies
- Provide expert feedback and judgment to help improve AI systems
- Apply your practical underwriting knowledge to a range of insurance-related evaluation tasks
What Were Looking For
- 812+ years of professional underwriting experience
- Significant experience working with U.S. insurance markets
- Demonstrated underwriting authority and hands-on decision-making experience
- Background such as Senior Underwriter, Underwriting Manager, Chief Underwriting Officer, Technical Underwriting Specialist, Program Underwriter, or equivalent senior-level roles
- Deep expertise in one or more of the target insurance lines
- Strong ability to evaluate insurance scenarios and explain the reasoning behind underwriting decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
