Job Description
Title: Design Associate - Young Contemporary, Juniors, Tween and Girls
Location: New York, NY
Salary- $65,000+
Overview
Our client, a rapidly growing young contemporary/ tween knitwear brand is currently looking for a Designer to join the team and oversee all facets of the design process.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the design team creating and maintaining tech packs ensuring accuracy throughout
- Shape seasonal design strategies and identify emerging trends
- Conceptualized and present innovative to leadership.
- Assist with creating prints, graphics and CAD’S
- Assist with sketching, CAD’S, and updating line sheets
- Additionally, knowledge of knitwear and woven’s fabrics is plus
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in fashion design,
- Proficient in Photoshop, and Illustrator
- 2 year minimum experience
