Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for AI initiatives, including scope definition, scheduling, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams comprising data scientists, software engineers, IT infrastructure specialists, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Develop detailed project plans utilizing tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, TFS (Team Foundation Server), and VersionOne; monitor progress and adjust plans proactively.
• Manage project lifecycle activities aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge), Agile practices like Scrum and Kanban, as well as Waterfall methodologies when appropriate.
• Oversee requirements gathering sessions, define test cases, facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure quality assurance standards are met through rigorous testing protocols.
• Coordinate enterprise software implementation efforts across cloud computing platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), ensuring compliance with IT governance and disaster recovery policies.
• Lead release management processes, including deployment planning and post-release support to guarantee smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
• Utilize project management tools like Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio) for documentation, reporting, and process visualization; foster effective communication among all stakeholders.

Experience

• Proven project management experience leading technical projects within enterprise software environments; supervisory experience in technical project & program management is highly desirable.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS and experience managing IT infrastructure projects involving databases like SQL and Oracle.
• Strong background in Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban; familiar with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) practices for large-scale enterprise solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project; proficient in requirements gathering, risk management, and analysis skills.
• Experience coordinating software development lifecycle activities—requirements analysis, test-driven development, user acceptance testing—and implementing enterprise solutions.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on time management, stakeholder communication, negotiation, and leadership in fast-paced environments.
• Technical proficiency in IT governance frameworks, disaster recovery planning, release management processes, and IT infrastructure components essential for enterprise AI projects.

Pay: $120.00 - $180.00 per hour
