Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Commvault Backup & Azure Administrator with 10-12 years of hands-on experience in enterprise backup, recovery, and cloud infrastructure management. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Commvault administration, Azure Backup, Azure Storage, Disaster Recovery, and Data Protection solutions .

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise backup and recovery solutions using Commvault .
  • Configure and manage Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery (ASR), Azure Storage Accounts, and Recovery Services Vaults .
  • Administer Commvault CommServe, Media Agents, Storage Policies, and Deduplication technologies.
  • Perform backup, restore, migration, retention management, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Monitor backup jobs and troubleshoot backup failures within SLA timelines.
  • Implement and maintain backup solutions for physical servers, virtual machines, databases, and cloud workloads.
  • Manage capacity planning, storage optimization, and backup infrastructure health checks.
  • Execute DR drills and ensure business continuity compliance.
  • Work closely with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, and Application teams.
  • Prepare operational reports, RCA documents, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Commvault Backup & Recovery Administration .
  • Expertise in Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery (ASR), Azure Storage, Virtual Machines, Networking, and Monitoring .
  • Experience with Windows and Linux server backups.
  • Good understanding of VMware and Hyper-V backup environments.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, Exchange, and file system backups.
  • Experience in Disaster Recovery planning and execution.
  • Familiarity with Azure RBAC, Key Vault, Log Analytics, and Monitoring.
  • PowerShell scripting knowledge for automation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
