This fast-growth Series C startup is going after a massive, outdated industry and rebuilding it from the ground up with AI-native software. Real traction, real revenue, and a team that ships fast. They’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer who wants ownership, not tickets: full-stack, agentic AI woven into the core product, and real say in technical direction at a company small enough that your fingerprints are on everything.
If you’re the engineer who gets bored maintaining someone else’s architecture and would rather build the AI-native version from scratch, this is that.
What you’ll do
- Architect and ship high-quality code across the stack, backend to frontend
- Build agentic AI workflows that are core to the product
- Own product areas end to end, from design through deployment
- Shape technical direction alongside a lean, high-context team
- Champion code quality through reviews and strong engineering practices
What you bring
- Strong experience with Python, TypeScript, and React
- Curiosity and initiative around agentic AI or LLM-powered systems (shipped something, even a side project or POC)
- Startup experience navigating ambiguity and speed
- Comfortable being in-office in Manhattan 2 days/week
