AI/ML Engineer – Forecasting, Remote (Restaurants, Food Service Domain)

Role: AI/ML Engineer Forecasting **Location: Remote

Experience: 10+ Years** Role Overview We are looking for an experienced AI/ML Engineer / Data Scientist to build forecasting and machine learning solutions using large amounts of business data such as sales, transactions, inventory, operations, and product information.

The Main Goal Is To Help Stores Decide

• What food should be prepared
• How much should be prepared
• When it should be prepared
• The ideal candidate should have strong experience in machine learning, time-series forecasting, and demand prediction, along with strong Python and SQL skills.
• They should also be comfortable using modern AI tools such as LLMs and AI-assisted coding tools to quickly build, test, and deploy solutions.

Must-Have Skills

• 12+ years of experience in AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field
• Strong hands-on experience building Machine Learning and Forecasting models
• Advanced Python and SQL
• Strong experience with Pandas, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, or similar ML libraries
• Strong experience with Time-Series Forecasting and Demand Prediction
• Experience with Feature Engineering, Model Validation, and Back-testing
• Experience working with large transactional, sales, inventory, or operational datasets
• Experience deploying ML models into production
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to convert business problems into technical/analytical solutions
• Experience with LLMs / Generative AI / AI-assisted coding tools is preferred

Education Bachelor’s Or Master’s Degree In

• Computer Science
• Data Science
• Statistics
• Mathematics
• Engineering
• or a related field

Ideal Candidate The best fit would be someone who is a hands-on AI/ML Engineer or Data Scientist with strong time-series forecasting experience , especially in retail, restaurants, food service, supply chain, inventory, or demand planning .
