🕐 Hours: EST to PST

ROLE OVERVIEW

Looking for a niche profile combining Data Center Network Architecture, Infrastructure as Code, and AI Infrastructure .

Team: DC Core . Senior Engineer candidates are considered, with preference for Architect-level candidates. Hands-on experience is more important than title.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide Level 3 design, implementation, and support for Data Center Network Engineering

• Participate in after-hours implementation windows

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot CLOS L3 Spine/Leaf, VxLAN BGP EVPN, MEC, MLAG, and vPC

• Advanced Palo Alto, Cisco Nexus, and Arista design, implementation, and troubleshooting

• Review business requirements with Network Architects and Engineering teams

• Create High-Level/Low-Level Designs, network diagrams, traffic flow diagrams, and cabling matrices

• Verify equipment and WAN circuits are available or ordered

• Coordinate additional equipment/WAN circuit requirements

• Create implementation, verification, and backout plans

• Create ServiceNow change tickets and coordinate outage windows

• Execute build/deploy activities and perform post-implementation validation and testing

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Hands-on enterprise experience with Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto

• VxLAN BGP EVPN , BGP , and CLOS L3 Spine/Leaf

• Cisco NDFC/Nexus Dashboard, Arista CloudVision Portal, Palo Alto Panorama

• Gigamon, LiveAction, Arista DMF, Viavi

• Equinix Fabric, Bare Metal, Megaport VXCs, MVE, MCR, AT&T TAOS

• Strong IaC experience with Python, Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, CI/CD, and GitHub

• Experience with source control, testing, validation, and continuous delivery

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

• AI Infrastructure: NVIDIA DGX and Spectrum X

• Claude Code familiarity is a plus

SOFT SKILLS

• Strong written and verbal communication

• Team-oriented and self-starter

• Comfortable working with client architects

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS

• Cisco CCNP Enterprise

• Arista DC ACE L5 or L7

• Palo Alto Network Security Professional

CANDIDATE PROFILE

This is a blended profile: a Data Center Network Architect who also codes . Networking depth is the priority, especially recent hands-on Spine/Leaf VxLAN EVPN experience.

Enterprise Network Architects with IaC exposure, or Senior Network Automation Engineers with strong Cisco/Arista/Palo Alto experience, are encouraged to apply.
