Job Description

About Ariana.Digital
Ariana.Digital is a team of entrepreneurial, energetic, and innovative digital professionals. We bring broad experience across industries and the digital ecosystem, helping organizations drive impact and sustainable growth. Our team thrives on diversity of backgrounds, skills, and experiences, and we value those who deliver tactical excellence along with a long-term strategic vision for our clients.

AI-video interview - required; W2 only ; 9 month extendible contract; remote with travel as required. US GC or citizen only.

What We Offer:
Flexible working arrangements
Resources and support for continuous growth

UX / Human-Centered Design / Section 508 Lead
Remote / contractor site. Atlanta coordination when the COR requires it.

Period: 28 September 2026 – 27 June 2027 (nine months)

Effort (base): about 480 hours on UX/product design, plus about 160 hours on Section 508 testing, AI-human co-training, and L1 incident support

Clearance / suitability: Public Trust processing before any gov tenant access. No Government systems or data until onboarding, NDA/data clauses, suitability, training, and gov authorization are complete.

The work
Gov is buying a modernized reporting application for two people who are not the same user: a member of the public (often a parent, patient, or caregiver on a phone) and a healthcare provider with a chart, a lot number, and little time.
If the landing page does not route them, branching arrives too late, or validation fails only after they quit, gov loses the report. This role owns the journeys, the wireframes, the accessible component model, and the 508 evidence that prove those paths can be finished.
You design the reporting surface, the guidance, and the error behavior gov specifies.

What you own
Discovery through Alpha (DOA+21 wireframes)

Guided workflow and assistance

Responsive UI and performance design

Section 508, testing, and evidence

Training, content, and L1

Required experience

  • End-to-end product design for complex, multi-step forms or regulated workflows, from research through high-fidelity UI, prototypes, and developer handoff.- Separate audience journeys (public vs. professional, or equivalent) without collapsing them into one undifferentiated form.- Accessible, mobile-first design as a design criterion, not a late overlay. WCAG 2.0 A/AA or later in practice.- Manual accessibility testing: keyboard-only at minimum; JAWS or NVDA sample paths preferred.- Design-system or pattern-library work that engineering can implement without guessing focus order, errors, or target size.- Cross-functional work with engineering, content owners, and program staff in short increments against fixed milestones.- Ability to design from a Government-controlled field list, branch matrix, and content-approval process. Gov owns the words.

Useful, not required
- Healthcare, life-sciences, or public-health form design.- Bilingual English/Spanish UI review (translation remains gov-controlled).- HHS Section 508 checklist, ACR/VPAT, or ANDI on a prior federal or HHS web application.- Survey / completion-time / abandonment measurement with privacy constraints.- Experience specifying human-in-the-loop AI UX (visible suggestions, no silent writes).

How the work runs
- Two-week increments inside fixed Government dates: UX wireframes DOA+21; Alpha +45; Beta +90; Final by end of PoP.- Government comments are addressed and resubmitted as the COR requests.- Ariana Digital humans remain accountable for final verification before anything is presented to gov.- Approved SDLC AI may be used for UX and accessibility review rounds. You still sign the work.- No production data on laptops, or in commercial design/AI prompts.

This is contracting-team W2 project talent under Ariana Digital direction, payroll, suitability, and flowdowns. Staffing is through talent.myndq.ai & assess.myndQ.ai
