Job Description

Textile & Rug Designer

**Remote Full-time / Freelance**

TROOST is looking for a creative Textile & Rug Designer who understands trends, colours, patterns and global design aesthetics.

What you’ll do:

  • Research global textile, interior, fashion & design trends
  • Turn inspirations and references into original rug prints and patterns
  • Develop fresh design concepts and collections
  • Create print-ready artwork for rugs
  • Experiment with colours, motifs, textures and layouts
  • Work closely with our team to develop new rug designs

We’re looking for:

  • Strong eye for design, colour and trends
  • Experience in textile, surface pattern, print or rug design
  • Proficiency in Illustrator & Photoshop
  • Someone highly creative who can turn an inspiration into an original, commercially viable design

Portfolio is mandatory. Rug/textile work is preferred, but strong surface-pattern portfolios are welcome.
