UI/UX Designer (Contract) - Remote

About the Role

YO AI Labs is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to join its team as a remote contractor.

In this role, you will create and evaluate graphics, layouts, interfaces, wireframes, and prototypes using Figma. You will contribute to visual design quality, usability, typography, and information hierarchy while documenting design and usability insights.

The position involves working remotely with the team to complete design projects and meet established deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

* Create visual designs, graphics, layouts, and user interfaces.

* Develop wireframes and interactive prototypes using Figma.

* Establish clear typography and visual hierarchy across designs.

* Evaluate existing designs and identify opportunities for improvement.

* Review visual designs for quality, consistency, and usability.

* Document usability observations and design insights.

* Collaborate with team members on design projects.

* Incorporate feedback and refine designs as needed.

* Manage assigned design work and meet project deadlines.

Required Qualifications

* Professional experience in graphic design and/or UI/UX design.

* Strong proficiency with Figma.

* Experience creating interfaces, layouts, wireframes, and prototypes.

* Understanding of typography and visual hierarchy.

* Ability to evaluate and improve user experiences.

* Strong visual and design judgment.

* Ability to document usability insights clearly.

* Strong communication and collaboration skills.

* Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and meet deadlines.

AI Experience

Prior experience working with artificial intelligence is not required. Designers with strong visual design and UI/UX experience are encouraged to apply.

Work Arrangement

This is a remote contract position based in Chicago, Illinois, with remote collaboration and project-based work.
