Luxury Sales & Design Consultant

We are building something special in Manhasset.

As Theodore Alexander continues to grow its retail presence, we are looking for experienced, motivated Luxury Sales & Design Consultants who understand that exceptional sales begin with exceptional relationships.

This is not a traditional retail sales position.

Our Manhasset showroom serves a sophisticated clientele of homeowners, interior designers, architects, and trade professionals. We are looking for individuals who can confidently engage that audience, understand their vision, develop long-term relationships, and turn opportunities into business.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and manage relationships with luxury residential clients, interior designers, architects, and trade professionals

• Deliver a highly personalized, luxury-level client experience from initial introduction through final sale

• Identify client needs and confidently present furniture and design solutions

• Build and actively manage a pipeline of new and existing business

• Consistently follow up on leads, quotes, projects, and opportunities

• Develop repeat and referral business through strong relationship management

• Prospect beyond showroom traffic and actively develop new business opportunities

• Collaborate with the showroom team while taking ownership of your individual performance

• Maintain the standards and professionalism expected of a global luxury furnishings brand

Who We’re Looking For

We are especially interested in candidates with a successful background in luxury furniture, interior design, high-end retail, luxury goods, real estate, hospitality, or another relationship-driven sales environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A demonstrated ability to sell, close, and develop business

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills

• Confidence working with affluent clientele and design professionals

• A polished and professional presence

• Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail

• A competitive, self-motivated mindset

• The ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

• A genuine interest in interiors, furniture, architecture, and luxury design

An existing network within the interior design, architecture, luxury residential, or trade community is highly valued.
