AI Engineering Manager (AI Capability Center) - 4 Openings Available

For our client, we are seeking a AI Engineering Manager (AI Capability Center) - 4 Openings Available to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will lead the development of AI-enabled solutions that support enterprise clients and internal business users. The manager will combine hands-on technical leadership with day-to-day collaboration across business and technology stakeholders to shape practical, high-quality implementations. This position will help define engineering standards, guide a small team, and ensure solutions are delivered with strong testing, evaluation, and operational discipline.

The ideal candidate will bring experience building modern full-stack applications and production AI systems in a consulting or client-facing environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $140,000 – $170,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop features with a full-stack focus on AWS and Azure using advanced models like Claude
• Collaborate directly with business users on a daily basis to co-create solutions
• Ensure high-quality outputs with rigorous testing and evaluation
• Adhere to prescribed solution designs, identifying any gaps in requirements
• Elevate the team’s capabilities by setting engineering standards and mentoring junior engineers

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of software or AI development experience, including leadership of up to 2 years
• Proficient in Python and TypeScript for backend and modern frontend development (React or similar)
• Experience with RAG (Retrieve and Generate) models and agent systems in production
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs and enterprise data integration
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating cloud workloads on AWS or Azure
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
