As a Senior Python Developer, you’ll play a key role in building and evolving a cloud-native SaaS platform relied upon by market-leading financial institutions worldwide. You’ll take genuine ownership and responsibility for large-scale projects, helping shape technical solutions and driving delivery from concept through to production.

Working with Python in an Azure cloud environment, you’ll develop secure, scalable web applications, backend services and APIs while taking responsibility for technical decisions, project delivery and the ongoing performance of the solutions you build.

You’ll:

• Design and develop secure, high-performance web applications, backend services and APIs using Python.
• Build and maintain API pipelines and integrations, ensuring reliable data flow between applications and services.
• Work closely with Business and Technical teams to shape solutions and take responsibility for delivering against project objectives.
• Take responsibility of complex technical challenges, driving problems through to resolution.
• Work with PostgreSQL and relational databases to support complex, data-intensive applications.

Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years’ professional software development experience with Python.
• Strong experience building scalable, production-grade Python applications.
• Proven experience developing and integrating APIs and API pipelines.
• Strong SQL and relational database design skills, ideally with PostgreSQL.
