Head Housekeeper/Assistant - Live-In

An Ultra-High-Net-Worth couple is seeking an experienced, discreet, and highly organized live-In Head Housekeeper/Assistant to manage the meticulous upkeep of their residence while providing high-level personal and administrative support. This hybrid role requires a polished professional who can maintain five-star household standards, multitask seamlessly, and anticipate the needs of the principals in a dynamic environment. This position would be Sunday through Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the residence to luxury, hotel-level standards ensuring cleanliness, organization, and readiness at all times.
• Oversee daily cleaning routines, deep cleaning, and seasonal housekeeping tasks.
• Support or supervise additional housekeeping staff, including scheduling and quality control (if applicable).
• Manage household inventory and restock supplies, including cleaning products, toiletries, and pantry items.
• Provide expert care for fine furnishings, artwork, high-end finishes, and other delicate surfaces.
• Oversee laundry and wardrobe care, including washing, ironing, steaming, stain treatments, and closet organization.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for the principals regarding personal and household matters.
• Manage personal calendars, appointments, reminders, and reservations.
• Coordinate travel logistics and assist with packing/unpacking.
• Handle errands such as shopping, returning items, and sourcing specialty products.
• Assist with event preparations, table settings, guest coordination, and liaising with caterers.
• Maintain household manuals, inventories, and digital/physical filing systems.
• Exercise absolute confidentiality and maintain discretion at all times.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of private service experience supporting UHNW families or luxury estates.
• Demonstrated success in roles such as Head Housekeeper, Executive Housekeeper, Personal Assistant, or Household Manager.
• Superior housekeeping, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills paired with a polished, professional demeanor.
• Deep knowledge of high-end home care, garment care, and proper cleaning techniques.
• Ability to remain flexible, composed, and adaptable.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for errands and commuting.
• Ability to work independently in a live-out capacity with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
