About Us
At Monroe Restoration, we restore more than buildings — we restore peace of mind. For over 40 years, we’ve helped homeowners and businesses recover after water, fire, storm, and mold damage.
We run on the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS®) — giving our team clear vision, accountability, and a healthy, supportive culture.
Our work is built on three Core Values:
✅ Relationships Matter — We build trust with clear communication, empathy, and doing the right thing.
✅ Coachable — We stay humble, seek feedback, learn continuously, and adapt — no excuses, no egos.
✅ Winning Together — We align around our vision, own our Rocks and Scorecards, and celebrate success as a team.
About the Role
As a Construction Project Manager, you’ll plan and oversee interior build-backs and remodeling after mitigation work is complete. You’ll coordinate teams, manage budgets and schedules, and make sure our customers feel cared for every step of the way.
No restoration experience? That’s okay — if you have general construction or remodeling leadership experience and the right attitude, we’ll train you the Monroe way.
What You’ll Do
- Plan project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, and materials to keep jobs on schedule.
- Communicate clearly with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and our team.
- Track budgets, purchase orders, and change orders with accuracy and honesty.
- Walk job sites daily — ensuring work is safe, high quality, and up to code.
- Document progress with photos, notes, and reports.
- Build trust and solve problems when issues come up — that’s the Monroe Difference.
Who Thrives in This Role
✅ You’re organized, detail-oriented, and great at juggling moving parts.
✅ You naturally build trust with homeowners, subs, and your team.
✅ You keep your cool under pressure and don’t make excuses.
✅ You’re Coachable — you learn from mistakes and always want to get better.
✅ You love Winning Together — when the team succeeds, you do too.
What You Need
- 2–3+ years of experience in construction, remodeling, or project coordination (restoration is a plus, but not required).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a background check.
- Must live in or near Elkhart, IN, or be able to commute daily.
Why You’ll Love Monroe
✅ A healthy, supportive team culture that truly lives EOS and our Core Values.
✅ Paid training, mentorship, and a clear path for growth — we invest in you.
✅ Quarterly performance-based bonuses.
✅ Fuel card and Chromebook.
✅ Medical, dental, vision, life, and short-term disability insurance with company contributions.
✅ 401(k)
✅ Paid time off and holidays.
✅ The chance to help people rebuild their lives when they need it most.
