Senior Director AI/ML Engineering - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director AI/ML Engineering - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This leader will shape the enterprise data and AI engineering strategy, driving the modernization of cloud-based data platforms and analytics capabilities across the organization. The role will partner closely with business, technology, and analytics stakeholders to build scalable foundations for AI-powered decision-making, data governance, and self-service access. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence how enterprise data is engineered, governed, and activated to support better outcomes across a complex healthcare environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $203,200 – $348,400 annually

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise data and AI engineering strategy.
• Develop a roadmap for modernizing data platforms and analytics capabilities.
• Establish enterprise standards for data governance and quality.
• Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based data platforms.
• Drive the transformation into AI-powered analytics ecosystems.
• Enable self-service analytics for business users.
• Develop reusable business data models for complex data access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in data engineering, data architecture, analytics, or cloud data platforms.
• 5+ years of experience building large-scale enterprise data platforms for analytics and AI.
• 5+ years of experience leading enterprise data modernization initiatives.
• Deep expertise with Databricks, Snowflake, and modern ETL/ELT frameworks.
