Business Development Representative (Series A ai)

*Remote role based in the US in Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones*

Responsibilities

• Own the top of the funnel by generating and qualifying new opportunities through high-volume outbound, with cold calling as your primary weapon
• Consistently hit qualified meetings booked targets
• Built target lists and run outreach across channels, including phone, email, and social to break into target accounts
• Keep the CRM clean and current, log every touch, track every lead, and manage your pipeline so nothing slips
• Research prospects and tailor your pitch to their world, clearly connecting our AI solution to the problems they feel every day
• Handle objections on the phone with confidence and turn a cold “not interested” into a booked conversation
• Partner closely with account executives to hand off warm, well-qualified meetings and refine messaging as you learn what lands
• Hit the phones daily with energy and consistency, treating activity volume as the engine of your results

Qualifications

• 1+ years in an outbound sales, BDR, SDR, or high-volume cold-calling role, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environment
• Proven track record of hitting meeting or pipeline quotas through proactive outreach
• Comfortable living on the phone and making a high volume of cold calls every day without losing momentum
• Experience managing a pipeline in a CRM and keeping data disciplined
• Sharp written and verbal communication with the ability to quickly build rapport and handle pushback
