Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer / Network Architect to provide remote network engineering, architecture, troubleshooting, and operational support for enterprise IT and OT networking environments .

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise network architecture and design , along with hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and supporting Cisco switching, routing, wireless, and HPE Aruba SD-WAN environments.

This is a support-retainer/on-demand engagement rather than a traditional full-time position. The engineer will support day-to-day plant and office network operations and may be called upon to assist with critical or emergency network issues . Availability expectations and response-time SLAs will be established as part of the engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
• Support Cisco Catalyst 9300, Nexus 9K, and Cisco Wireless environments.
• Deploy and support HPE Aruba SD-WAN .
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, and network connectivity issues.
• Provide L1–L3 support for plant and office operations.
• Respond to critical network issues according to established SLAs.
• Collaborate with IT/OT teams and provide technical recommendations.

Required Skills

• Strong Cisco networking experience with Catalyst and Nexus switches .
• Experience with Cisco Wireless, routers, and enterprise networks .
• Hands-on experience with HPE Aruba SD-WAN .
• Strong understanding of IT and OT networking .
• Enterprise network architecture and troubleshooting experience.
• Firewall experience, including OPNsense ; Cisco/Fortinet is a plus.
• Ability to provide on-demand/critical support when required.

Engagement

This is a remote, on-demand support engagement for approximately 6–12 months . Engineer must be available to respond to critical network issues when required, with specific SLAs established during onboarding.
