Forward Deployed Engineer ($190K–$235K + Equity) AI Memory and Identity Infrastructure

This role is being recruited by CoffeeSpace on behalf of an anonymous AI infrastructure startup focused on solving personal identity for the agentic world.

Location: Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY / on-site

Compensation: $190k–$235k base + competitive equity

This company provides AI memory and identity infrastructure, training its own models to become the #1 trusted memory provider in the agentic AI ecosystem. Founded in 2023, the company has experienced explosive growth, with a 50x increase in developer engagement over three months. They are well-funded, having raised approximately $14-15M from prominent investors including Mozilla Ventures and Greycroft.

The team is currently 15 people strong and is based out of the Domino Sugar Factory in Brooklyn, New York.

About the role

You’ll be the first dedicated Forward Deployed Engineer, managing enterprise customer relationships from pre-sales demos to post-sales integration. This role involves embedding with customers to audit their codebases and build integrations, as well as educating them on agentic engineering mental models.

What You’ll Do

• Manage deal flow end-to-end, from triaging enterprise inbound to delivering on commitments
• Build demos and collateral tailored to each customer’s vertical and use case
• Embed with customers post-sale to audit codebases and build integrations
• Educate enterprise customers on leveraging the company’s solutions
• Provide feedback to the development team to improve the product

The Ideal Candidate

• 3+ years of experience in a technical, client-facing role
• Proficient in Python, FastAPI, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, LLMs, and Agentic Frameworks
• Strong communicator capable of managing customer relationships and technical integrations
