Job Summary:
Role Overview: Hands-on engineering lead responsible for building out Azure Gov Cloud infrastructure, landing zones, and provisioning virtualized environments for on-premises datacenter migrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, configure, and maintain secure Azure Gov Cloud landing zones adhering to enterprise compliance baselines.
- Deploy and optimize virtual servers, networking (VNets, ExpressRoute, firewalls), and storage components.
- Execute technical migration tasks for workloads transitioning from on-premises datacenters to Azure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot migration anomalies, and enforce operational security controls.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience deploying and managing resources within Azure Government Cloud.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and core networking/virtualization constructs.
- Experience migrating legacy on-premises datacenter workloads into cloud environments.
