Job Description
Position: Embedded Firmware Engineer – Automotive
Experience: 3 to 8 Years
Location: Bangalore
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, debug, and maintain embedded firmware for automotive ECUs.
- Develop firmware using Embedded C/C++ and FreeRTOS/RTOS .
- Work on Embedded Linux / Linux Kernel and low-level firmware components.
- Develop and integrate CAN, UART, SPI, and I2C interfaces.
- Implement UDS diagnostics, DTCs, POST, BIST, fault handling, and safe-state mechanisms .
- Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, validation, and root-cause analysis .
- Work with Automotive Ethernet, TCP/IP, and UDP communication.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and validation teams.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on Embedded Firmware Development .
- Strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++ .
- Experience with Embedded Linux / Linux Kernel .
- Hands-on experience with FreeRTOS / RTOS .
- Good knowledge of CAN, UART, SPI, and I2C .
- Experience with UDS, DTC, TCP/IP, UDP, and Automotive Ethernet .
- Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.
- Knowledge of NXP S32G/S32K or similar automotive processors.
- Experience in hardware debugging and board bring-up .
