Staff AI Engineer - Enterprise Analysis Platform (Remote Eligible)

For our client, we are seeking a Staff AI Engineer - Enterprise Analysis Platform (Remote Eligible) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will help shape advanced AI capabilities for an enterprise environment, with a strong emphasis on building scalable systems that support analysis, decision-making, and long-term platform evolution. The position partners closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reliable AI-driven solutions with real business impact. You will contribute to both hands-on technical execution and the broader technical direction of foundational AI systems in a cloud-based, production setting.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $244,700 – $279,200 annually

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative AI products.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain key AI software components.
• Utilize a wide range of open source and SaaS AI technologies.
• Implement optimization techniques for scalable production AI systems.
• Contribute to the long-term technical vision of foundational AI systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or AI with 8 years of experience developing AI technologies, or a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience.
• 8 years of programming experience with Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
• Experience deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Proven ability to architect and develop complex AI systems.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams, with the ability to influence stakeholders up to VP level.
