Global IT Network Architect (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Global IT Network Architect (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Food & Beverages space.

This role will shape and sustain a secure, scalable global network environment that supports enterprise operations across data centers, cloud platforms, and wireless endpoints. You will set standards for network architecture and segmentation while helping ensure performance, reliability, and security across a complex international footprint. The position also partners closely with infrastructure and security stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, strengthen controls, and guide future-state connectivity. In addition, you will mentor engineers and help raise the technical capability of the broader team.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $129,000 – $215,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain scalable, secure global network infrastructure using advanced technologies.
• Lead the deployment of wireless networks, maintaining high standards in technology and performance.
• Develop and sustain network topologies across various environments, including data centers and clouds.
• Define network segmentation strategies, ensuring robust access controls and security compliance.
• Establish global standards for network configuration and security practices.
• Monitor global network performance, troubleshooting issues and maintaining operational excellence.
• Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in network engineering and architecture, ideally in global enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with network technologies including switches, routers, and wireless controllers.
• Expert knowledge of IP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS; familiarity with VPNs and cloud connectivity (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with network automation tools like Ansible or Terraform is a plus.
• Preferred certifications: CCNP/CCIE and cloud networking certifications.
