Director of AI & Data

We are partnering with a leading media and technology organisation looking to strengthen its senior leadership capability across AI, Data and Machine Learning.

This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced technology leader to shape the organisation’s data and AI strategy, working across large-scale streaming, digital media and video platforms.

The successful individual will sit at the intersection of technology, data and business, helping define how AI and data can be used to improve products, customer experiences and operational performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and execute AI, Data & ML strategy across the organisation
• Lead and develop high-performing technical teams
• Drive the adoption of machine learning, analytics and data platforms
• Partner with senior stakeholders across engineering, product and commercial functions
• Oversee large-scale data and AI initiatives across digital/video products
• Identify opportunities to use AI and data to improve customer and business outcomes
• Establish scalable approaches to data architecture, governance and ML infrastructure
• Evaluate emerging technologies and determine where they can create competitive advantage

Ideal background:

Senior technology leaders who have experience across areas such as:

• AI / Machine Learning
• Data Science & Analytics
• Data Engineering / Data Architecture
• ML Engineering / MLOps
• Cloud & Data Platforms
• Streaming, OTT, CTV or digital media
• Large-scale consumer technology platforms

Experience leading data/AI teams or major transformation programmes is highly desirable.
