Principal AI Architect (W2 only)

Overview:

Seeking an experienced Senior AI Architect to lead enterprise AI strategy, architecture, and implementation. The ideal candidate will design scalable AI solutions, align AI initiatives with business objectives, and establish governance, security, and best practices across the AI lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define enterprise AI architecture, governance, and engineering standards.
• Design AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, vector databases, embeddings, AI agents, and fine-tuning .
• Collaborate with business, data science, security, and engineering teams from use case definition through deployment and monitoring.
• Develop AI platform architectures on Azure AI Foundry, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments.
• Ensure AI solutions meet security, compliance, and governance requirements for PHI/PII data.
• Lead AI model selection, deployment, performance optimization, and operational monitoring.
• Present AI strategies and architecture recommendations to executive leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in AI/ML, cloud architecture, data platforms, and enterprise solution architecture .
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, AI agents, and AI observability .
• Strong knowledge of Azure AI services , cloud platforms, and AI governance.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale AI solutions for secure, regulated environments.
• Programming experience in Python and one or more of C#, Java, or .NET .
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare IT or Healthcare Payer domain experience.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face , and NLP/Generative AI frameworks.
• Experience presenting AI strategy to CIO/CDO-level leadership.
