Description Strada is hiring an AI Engineer and Architect for a working-lead role focused on designing and building production GenAI, RAG, and agentic AI systems. The role blends hands-on engineering, solution architecture, team technical leadership, and client-facing solutioning.

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India

Experience

• 12–17+ years overall in software engineering
• 2–3 years of recent hands-on GenAI/Agentic AI project experience
• Architecture or technical-lead track record
• Owned HLD/LLD for at least one non-trivial system

Responsibilities

• Define technical standards, reusable patterns, and reference architecture for GenAI and Agentic AI delivery
• Own the AI budget including tooling, LLM/API spend, infrastructure costs, and licensing
• Architect and build end-to-end GenAI and Agentic AI solutions from design through production deployment
• Own solution architecture across backend services, APIs or microservices, data layer, and cloud infrastructure
• Ensure AI components integrate cleanly with existing enterprise systems
• Select and justify the technical stack based on the problem
• Produce architecture artifacts such as HLD, LLD, sequence diagrams, and integration specs
• Review team designs for architectural soundness
• Build evaluation, guardrails, and monitoring into AI systems as standard practice
• Support presales and solutioning by translating client requirements into a technical approach and effort estimate
• Represent the team in client-facing technical discussions
• Mentor and technically lead the team and grow GenAI capability

Additional Responsibilities

• Use evaluation practices such as hallucination checks, retrieval quality metrics, and human-in-the-loop escalation paths
• Align technical choices into team guidelines and delivery discipline
• Provide security basics for production cloud services
• Work with SQL and NoSQL design choices at an architecture level
• Operate in a client-facing, presales-adjacent capacity when needed
• Have current and future work authorization in the employing country without visa sponsorship
