Web Designer (Independent Contractor)

Job Description:

As a Web Designer, you’ll focus exclusively on building out websites for companies across various industries and sizes. Your responsibilities are centered solely on the build-out process, with all wireframes, functional specs, schematics, graphics, copywriting, staging, plugins, security, and publishing elements provided for you. There’s no client communication involved, as our account executives handle all client interactions and oversee each project alongside you, allowing you to focus solely on your scope of work.

Responsibilities:

• Build and design websites based on provided specifications, catering to a range of industries and client needs
• Ensure designs are responsive and optimized for mobile and desktop user experiences
• Work independently to complete projects by established deadlines while maintaining quality standards
• Troubleshoot issues and apply creative solutions to meet project requirements

Qualifications:

• Required: Minimum of two years of web design experience, with several examples of completed work shared in the resume
• Required: Proficiency in WordPress and Elementor
• Required: Availability for communication during core hours (Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM ET), with the flexibility to work on your own time
• Required: Must be a U.S. citizen located in the continental U.S.
• Demonstrated ability to build visually engaging, functional sites that align with project specifications
• Basic coding knowledge to support customization and troubleshooting as needed
• Strong understanding of UX principles, especially for mobile design
• Independent problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines reliably
• Meet or exceed the company’s standards for security and professionalism
• Well-organized, self-motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality work
• Must be able to turn in completed work quickly and meet deadlines
