The opportunity

Apata is an emerging fintech with a new generation of flexible fraud prevention

solutions for card issuers. Following a successful market launch in June 2022, the

solution is currently used by approx. 100 financial institutions globally to

authenticate e-commerce transactions for millions of cardholders all over the

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code in line with our release plans.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications to support our business.
• Collaborate with back-end developers and UI/UX designers to improve usability.
• Get feedback from, and build solutions for users.
• Write functional requirement documents and guides.
• Ability to convert wireframes and mock-ups into high quality components.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.

Ideal Candidate

• Proven work experience as a frontend developer.
• 6+ years of strong frontend experience with a modern JavaScript framework (at least 2 with React).
• Strong experience with Typescript and Javascript.
• Advanced HTML and CSS experience.
• Experience with ES6.
• Familiarity with build tools, such as vite, webpack etc.
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment).
• Understanding of layout aesthetics.
• Hard-working individual with initiative and self-motivation.
• Focused on quality.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
