AI Engineer

We’re working with a leading financial institution that is transforming banking through responsible and reliable AI systems, leveraging deep expertise in machine learning to create personalized customer experiences and cutting-edge product innovations.

The Role

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products that enhance customer and associate interactions
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training, LLM inference, and model evaluation
• Leverage a broad stack of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies like AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, and PyTorch
• Invent and introduce state-of-the-art LLM optimization techniques to improve performance of large-scale production AI systems
• Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap of foundational AI systems

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or AI with at least 8 years of experience, or Master’s with at least 6 years, in developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies
• At least 8 years of experience programming with Python, Go, Scala, or Java
• Passion for staying abreast of the latest research and intuitively applying novel techniques in production
• Strong foundation in engineering and mathematics, with expertise in hardware, software, and AI to identify optimization opportunities
• Ability to adapt quickly and bring clarity to undefined problems, with courage to share new ideas
