About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled, adaptable, and service-oriented Executive Assistant to support the President’s office. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this role will primarily focus on business-facing executive support.
This is an extremely high-impact role - you’ll work closely with the broader support team, the Chief of Staff, the President, and in some cases, the heads of other departments directly to ensure seamless coordination of priorities, schedules, and operations.
This is a senior-level role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings a consistently positive attitude.
You must be able to flex smoothly between executive-level responsibilities, strategic thought partnership, and occasional hands-on personal support when required. You will be expected to operate with speed, range, and a “no ego” mindset in a highly collaborative team, meeting the high standards required for a senior executive.
Responsibilities
- Executive Support & Inbox Management: Provide proactive executive support, including strategic calendar management, complex inbox management, meeting preparation, and follow-ups.
- Strategic Thought Partnership: Quickly take actionable meeting notes and serve as a true thought partner—thinking while doing rather than relying on pure execution.
- Logistics & Travel: Coordinate logistics for domestic and international travel, including agendas, accommodations, and on-the-ground details.
- Meeting & Board Preparation: Support preparation for internal and external meetings by organizing briefing documents, decks, and key materials in a highly polished standard.
- Team Alignment: Partner seamlessly with the President, Chief of Staff, Personal Assistant, and cross-functional partners to ensure alignment of business and personal calendars.
- Service-Oriented Support: Step in with a service-oriented mindset to provide light personal support when needed (e.g., travel changes, errands, serving lunch/tea if the PA is unavailable, or coordination with vendors).
- Action Tracking & Proactivity: Track action items, ensure timely follow-up across internal and external stakeholders, and anticipate needs by proposing solutions before being asked.
- On-Site Agility: Provide dynamic on-site support, which occasionally requires carrying bags, laptops, iPads, or papers and moving frequently around the office.
- Special Projects: Drive special projects and operational initiatives run out of the Office of the President, including offsites, board preparation, and external relationship coordination.
Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years of experience supporting senior executives (or on an EA team) with high standards. Experience in financial services (or a mature Fintech/PE firm) is preferred.
- Organizational Rigor: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities at Pagaya’s fast pace.
- Communication & Presence: Clear, professional written and verbal communication; effectively represents the Office of the President.
- Judgment & Discretion: High degree of integrity, trusted with sensitive information, and maintains professionalism at all times.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a small, high-performing team with a “no ego” approach.
- Adaptability: High flexibility to handle curveballs and smoothly shift between business-facing EA work and occasional personal tasks.
- Commitment & Hours: Willingness to work out of our midtown NYC…
