Job Description
I’m currently working with an exciting AI company building the infrastructure and applications transforming how leading hedge funds and asset managers operate.
They’re looking for a strong Applied AI Engineer to build production-grade AI products, working directly with sophisticated investment teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building LLM-powered and agentic AI applications
- Working with MCP, agent frameworks and modern AI tooling
- Developing full-stack applications with Python & React
- Building APIs, data pipelines and financial analytics
- Deploying and working with Kubernetes in client environments
- Shipping quickly and iterating directly from user feedback
What they’re looking for:
- 3–8 years’ experience as an Applied AI Engineer
- Strong Python fundamentals — non-negotiable
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, MCP servers and agentic frameworks
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask or Django
- React / full-stack development experience
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
Location: New York — 4 days in office, 1 day remote
Salary: $200k–$250k + Equity
Visa: Open to most visa transfers
