Technical Product Lead - AI Neobank App

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Product Lead - AI Neobank App based in United States. The Technical Product Lead will own a product vertical end-to-end within an AI-native neobank superapp spanning payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading. This is a high-impact product leadership role where financial accuracy, reliability, security, and regulatory compliance are fundamental to every product decision. You will shape strategy and outcomes while partnering deeply with engineering on architecture, APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, scalability, and failure handling. The role also requires strong judgment around how and where AI should be applied, balancing innovation with predictability, auditability, human oversight, and user trust. You will coordinate across Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance to turn complex requirements into products that can launch and scale. Working in a distributed international environment, you will help build next-generation financial products designed to make money smarter, more accessible, and easier to manage.

Accountabilities

• Own a product vertical end-to-end, including product strategy, desired outcomes, success metrics, roadmap, prioritization, delivery, and launch.
• Partner closely with engineering teams to shape technical designs covering APIs, databases, data flows, workflows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability.
• Make deliberate trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory requirements, and user experience.
• Translate regulatory and operational requirements into product capabilities, including KYC, transaction monitoring, transaction limits, privacy, and licensing requirements.
• Determine where AI can meaningfully improve product outcomes and where deterministic systems must remain in control.
• Establish appropriate evaluation frameworks, safeguards, human oversight, reliability measures, and failure-handling mechanisms for AI-powered features.
• Drive product delivery across external dependencies, including regulatory approvals, financial infrastructure, third-party partners, and external financial rails.
• Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance around product decisions, priorities, dependencies, and launch requirements.
• Identify and remove obstacles that could prevent successful launches while maintaining appropriate technical, regulatory, and operational standards.
• Ensure financial products and workflows operate correctly and that users receive accurate, transparent information about the status of their funds.
• Champion product decisions that remain robust under uncertainty and can be clearly justified to technical, business, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Promote fast, disciplined execution while maintaining high standards for reliability, trust, and customer outcomes.
• Contribute to a product culture focused on meaningful AI adoption, technical excellence, clear ownership, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex technical products from strategy through production.
• Strong technical foundation across system architecture, APIs, databases, distributed systems, workflows, failure modes, and data flows.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with engineers and review, challenge, and contribute meaningfully to technical designs.
• Professional experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, fintech, or another regulated and high-consequence product environment.
• Strong product judgment and the ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, financial, operational, and user-experience constraints.
• Experience building or managing AI- or LLM-powered products, with an understanding of evaluation, reliability, safeguards, and appropriate use cases.
• Strong understanding of how deterministic systems, controls, and human oversight should complement AI in high-consequence environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound decisions under uncertainty.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to align technical and non-technical teams around clear product decisions.
