Job Description
We are exclusively partnering with one of the largest nonprofit healthcare organizations in the U.S. as it makes a significant investment in Data, AI and Engineering to fundamentally reinvent the consumer healthcare experience.
With approximately $17B in annual operating revenue, 55 hospitals, 1,000+ care sites and millions of consumers , this organization has extraordinary scale, complexity and data. The opportunity now is to transform that foundation into something far more intelligent.
The broader mission is ambitious: improve the healthcare journey beyond the hospital room. From finding and accessing care to navigating services, interacting with digital channels and making sense of complex information, the organization wants to use real-time data, semantic knowledge products, GenAI and agentic AI to remove friction and create more intuitive, personalized experiences.
To help lead this transformation, we are hiring across three Director-level mandates:
Director, Enterprise Data
Lead an approximately 60-person organization spanning Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering/BI and adjacent capabilities. Own the enterprise data ecosystem across cloud platforms, lakehouse/warehouse architecture, ETL/ELT, streaming and real-time integration, APIs, reliability, observability and cost optimization.
The larger opportunity is to move the organization beyond traditional dashboards and static BI toward AI-ready data products, conversational interfaces and agentic experiences for both consumers and internal users.
Director, Ontology & Knowledge Products
Build the semantic and knowledge foundation that allows complex healthcare information to become connected, understandable and reusable by AI systems .
You’ll lead the development of ontologies, semantic models and knowledge products that transform structured and unstructured information into trusted representations that can power search, conversational AI, intelligent applications and increasingly sophisticated agentic workflows.
This is an opportunity to shape how one of America’s largest healthcare ecosystems represents and reasons over knowledge at enterprise scale.
Director, Quality Engineering
Lead the evolution from traditional, manual-heavy QA toward a modern automation-first Quality Engineering organization .
You’ll establish scalable automation across API, UI, integration, regression, performance and end-to-end testing; embed quality gates into CI/CD and DevSecOps; and help define an emerging discipline around AI/agent evaluation, reliability, guardrails, traceability, regression and human-in-the-loop validation . The mandate also includes applying AI to QE itself through intelligent test generation, synthetic data, defect analysis and automation.
Who We’re Looking For
Across these searches, we’re interested in accomplished Director, Senior Director, VP and Head-of-level leaders who combine meaningful organizational leadership with genuine technical credibility.
We are particularly interested in executives from large, complex, customer-facing environments such as healthcare, banking/financial services, insurance, retail, e-commerce and major digital platforms.
Depending on the mandate, your expertise may center on enterprise Data Engineering and real-time platforms; ontology, semantic technologies and knowledge graphs; or Quality Engineering and test automation. Across all three, exposure to GenAI, LLMs, agentic AI or AI-enabled products is particularly compelling.
Most importantly, we’re looking for builders and transformation leaders who can communicate with senior executives, develop strong technical organizations and translate sophisticated technology into tangible improvements in the customer experience.
Compensation: Up to $300K base + 20% bonus
Location: Fully remote within eligible U.S. states ( CANNOT be based in California, New York, Hawaii, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington, or Wyoming.)
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Green Card; sponsorship is not available
Process: Streamlined three-stage interview process
Timing: Immediate hiring priority
These are rare opportunities to influence the Data and AI foundation of a massive healthcare organization at a point when the strategy is still being defined, rather than simply inheriting a mature operating…
