Web Developer

Type M is looking for a skilled and proactive Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Type M’s websites and digital platforms, while working closely with our creative, content, SEO, and marketing teams.

The role requires strong knowledge of front-end and back-end development, responsive design, CMS platforms, APIs, integrations, website performance, and technical SEO.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain Type M’s website front-end and back-end components.
• Build new web pages, product pages, landing pages, campaign pages, and microsites as required.
• Develop responsive and mobile-friendly websites aligned with Type M’s brand and design guidelines.
• Manage backend architecture, APIs, database integrations, and CMS updates.
• Work closely with the SEO and digital marketing teams to implement technical changes, tracking, analytics, and website optimizations.
• Collaborate with creative and content teams to implement website designs, content updates, campaigns, and digital assets.
• Implement technical SEO requirements, including metadata, structured data/schema, image optimization, internal linking, URL structures, and site architecture improvements.
• Integrate and maintain third-party tools such as CRMs, chat systems, marketing automation platforms, analytics tools, payment gateways, and other APIs.
• Implement and maintain tracking solutions such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and other marketing tracking tools.
• Conduct regular website testing, troubleshooting, performance checks, and bug fixing.
• Apply security patches, software updates, and follow secure coding practices.
• Monitor website performance, uptime, speed, and overall operational stability.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Maintain clean, well-structured, and reusable code.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for code, integrations, APIs, and system configurations.
• Stay updated with emerging web technologies, development best practices, and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in web development.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end development.
• Experience with at least one back-end programming language/framework such as PHP, Node.js, Python, or similar.
• Experience working with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Understanding of databases and API integrations.
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first web development.
• Good understanding of website performance, security, and optimization.
• Knowledge of technical SEO and website analytics.
• Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot website issues and independently identify technical solutions.
• Familiarity with Git/version control is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work across multiple projects.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced digital agency environment. You should be able to take a requirement from the creative/marketing team, understand the technical requirements, and execute it independently while maintaining quality and performance.

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
