About the Project

TuringX Index is a new assessment platform being developed by TuringX (www.turingx.in) to help businesses evaluate their readiness across important areas of technology, operations, data, security and digital maturity.

The platform will allow users to complete structured assessments and receive meaningful, evidence-based scores and recommendations rather than simply generating generic AI advice.

The goal is to build a production-ready assessment product, not a demonstration or landing-page project.

What You Will Build

As the developer, you will work end-to-end on the Index platform, including:

• Assessment and questionnaire engine
• Scoring and index calculation
• User and organisation workflows
• Results and assessment reports
• Recommendations based on assessment outcomes
• Admin functionality for managing assessments and questions
• Database and data models
• API/backend services
• Responsive web interface
• Authentication and access control
• Deployment and production configuration

The platform should be designed so that additional assessment frameworks and indices can be introduced without rebuilding the application from scratch.

What We’re Looking For

You should be comfortable taking a product from concept → architecture → implementation → deployment.

You should have practical experience with:

• Modern frontend development
• React / Next.js or equivalent
• Backend/API development
• Relational databases and data modelling
• Authentication and authorization
• REST APIs
• Git/GitHub
• Deployment and basic cloud infrastructure
• Writing clean, maintainable code

You should also understand basic concepts around:

• application architecture
• database design
• API design
• validation
• security
• testing
• responsive UI/UX

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who:

• thinks beyond simply completing assigned tickets
• can understand a product requirement and translate it into a working system
• is comfortable making sensible technical decisions independently
• cares about UX as well as code
• writes maintainable code rather than quick prototypes
• can work with incomplete requirements and ask the right questions
• is comfortable owning features from frontend through backend
• wants to build something that will actually be used by businesses

Experience building SaaS products, assessment platforms, analytics products, dashboards or workflow-based applications would be valuable.
